What RIAs should know

HubSpot’s terms allow AI training on customer data, with an opt-out.

HubSpot’s Terms & Conditions say it may use customer data to train its AI models, in line with its obligations under the agreement. They also say customers can opt out by updating their HubSpot account settings.

In September 2026, HubSpot’s Acceptable Use Policy began prohibiting the use of AI Agents for automated decision-making, or for purposes that pose a material risk to health, safety or fundamental rights, where the law prohibits it.
